Town of Day seeks candidates for the appointed position of Sole Assessor. The Position is part-time, requiring regular 9-4 office hours two days per week. State Certified Assessor preferred. ~~~Day is located in the norhtwest corner of Saratoga County, with 2, 186 tax parcels, comprised mostly of residential and vacant property. The Town contemplates conducting a town-wide revaluation in the near future, the last one being completed in 2004. The Sole Assessor shall be expected to have the skills and experience to accomplish all of the duties required to satisfy the administrative demands of this office, including a thorough knowledge of RPSV software, real property valuation, exemption processing, and maintaining property record files. ~~~
